Frugal Beauty Recipe-be beautiful on the cheap.

Who said being beautiful must be expensive? What all those commercials? Screw them!

Here is my recipe for beauty on cheap;

Shampoo-Buy shampoo by the gallon at a beauty supply store divide the cost by 128 oz try to stay over 18 oz to get your money’s worth.

Conditioner-see above

Facial Cleanser-Go to the 99 cent store and read the ingredients on a cleanser choose one with no mineral oil, the ingredients should include salycic acid, so that it can be effective. My favorite is “lander cooling cream” it’s a knockoff of noxzema’s original face cream. Works just as well.

Toner-Hydrogen peroxide, witch hazel, or plain vodka from you’re drank stash. Use cottonball and gently rub in a upward circular motion.

Moisurizer-Oil of Olay complete with spf.

Makeup-E.L.F they are $1.00 each for regular makeup and brushes.

You may cringe a little at my recipe but It works I always get comments on my skin, like, “How do you get you’re skin so clear?” So there is my frugal secret.

Note: the most expensive items on my list are the oil-of olay cream and VODKA

About my frugal self

People call me ghetto, stingy, pennypincher, “coda”, “takaƱa:”. I prefer the term cost-effective/freegan. What is wrong with trying to save a few bucks here and there? I always try to find ways to save money and reuse things. If you ask me I’m also being “green”. I love flea markets, thrift shops, discount stores, food 4 less, biglots, and DIY projects. Its become kind of like a game. I’m a ghetto Marth Stewart. My favorite words are bargain, discount, free, and “gratis”. I’ve noticed my ideas aren’t very popular amongst my collegues so I decided to write about it and hopefully find other fellow frugals.
